MEET THE CREATORS

  • BROOKLYN HADLEY

    2029 + Psychology

    Owner of The Yarney Barn

My mission is to touch people’s hearts and show them that “the earth without art is just eh” (one of my favorite quotes by Demetri Martin). I aspire to help others realize that creativity is all around us and that we should appreciate it any opportunity we have! I aim to curate a place where people can view creativity as not only art but as a voice for so many.

  • AMANDA PEART

    2028 + Nursing

    Owner of Ego Death Studio

My mission is to design and handcraft gothic chain jewelry that empowers individuals and creates self-expression. I look to create bold, accessible pieces that allow people to stand out, while I build my craft and grow my independent brand.

  • JAYE FARTHING

    2028 + Justice Studies

Owner of Jaye’s Art N’ Stuff

The most rewarding part of the creative process is when it all comes together. I improvise on anything that is an original work to me. The challenge is the process to get to the rewarding part. Some items are made in a breeze, however, other items take some trial and error to be the way I envisioned them to be.

  • BREEANA SMITH

    2027 + Art Studies

Owner of Oscardarla Art and Designs

My mission is to bring joy and spark creativity through my art. Art is the foundation of human experience and I wish to share mine with as many people as possible.

  • GRACE LUIS

    GRACE LUIS

    2029 + Forensic Science

    Owner of Crochet by Gracie

Trusting the process has been the most challenging, yet most rewarding part of my creative process. At first, you have this grand idea that you want to make something and when you start to make it, it looks ugly and feels like there is no ending. Once you finish that last row, you feel a sense of accomplishment and it’s very rewarding when someone says to you “You made that?!?!”. Crochet is basically all about patience and falling in love with something you almost gave up on halfway through.

  • SHEFALI BHAKTA

2028 + Biomedical Sciences and Global Health

    Owner of Arte del Alma

My ultimate goal is to make others feel seen through the art I produce. I hope student-made content can help through increased exposure!

  • JOCELYN JAMES

    JOCELYN JAMES

2029 + Journalism and Mass Communication

    Owner of Jewelry by Jocelyn

Jewelry by Jocelyn is an idea I thought up a while ago to honor my Nana. She taught me how to make jewelry almost a decade ago, and it was always something we did together. Now that I’m away at college, I wanted to provide a way to stay connected to her despite the miles apart and share the happiness she gives me with others. I’m thrilled to finally make this dream of mine a reality.

  • JENNA SERAG

    2029 + Computer Science

    Owner of Dulcet Jewels

My Mission is to make all my girls out there feel comfortable and pretty in their own skin.

  • CONNIE DANG

    2029 + Biochemistry

    Owner of Cosmic Moon

My mission is to produce sparkling handcrafted keychains to capture a small aspect of individual personalities within our products. My keychains add a twinkling moment in everyday objects

  • ISABEL VERDUGO

2028 + Social Work Major and Psychology Minor

Owner of Custom Candles By Isa

My ultimate goal with my business is to grow it as much as I can and I plan to stay with it as long as I can. I hope the  Student-Made community can help me grow my connections and learn how to manage a small business.

  • OLIVIA AGENO

    Printmaking Major

    Owner of Liv Sparkly

This shop mainly focuses on print-on-demand items and stickers. I lost a friend from church in a car accident, so I decided to pursue her dream of starting an Etsy Shop in 2023 even though it was on her 2022 bucket list.

  • SOPHIA ZELEDON

Junior + Fashion (Apparel Technical Design) & Project Management

Owners of Ámate / SZ Designs

SZ Designs LLC is a fashion house with two unique brands. Amate brings positivity and self-love to streetwear, while SZeledon Designs creates custom, one-of-a-kind pieces. Together, we celebrate individuality through style and creativity.

  • TINA VUONG

    TINA VUONG

2027 + Psychology and Social and Behavioral Science

    Owner of AcubiArchives

    Where Art Meets Adornment

The most rewarding part of the creative process has by far been the creation of my beloved jewelry pieces. I greatly enjoy art mediums that I can share with others and I get so excited seeing others appreciate pieces I have dedicated time and love to.

  • ABIGAIL WHITING

    ABIGAIL WHITING

2028 + Management and Business Law

    Owner of Crow’s Eye Artistry

I love incorporating new things into the business which is often challenging but worth it. For example, through doing resin I have learned how to dry my own flowers and  keep them safe until I am able to use them. The risk of using my own dried flowers has often led to panic when one falls apart but once it is done, it is so worth it.

  • LARISSA MARTINEZ

    2027 + Digital Marketing

    Owner of Bunny Ache

The most rewarding part of having my business has been seeing my friends and family with the items I have made and seeing how happy they are.

  • NICHELLE HUTCHINSON

    NICHELLE HUTCHINSON

2029 + English (Creative Writing) with a Minor in Art/Small Business

    Owner of Hope with Psalms

When creating Hope with Psalms, I knew I wanted to honor the Lord and give back to Him. That is why I founded Hope with Psalms, a Christian faith -based business that includes scripture with every order. Each month, I give one - tenth of my earnings to my local church Salt River Church of Christ. The remaining earnings are reinvested into my business and help support me through college and basic daily needs. I have hope through the Lord and need to share it through Hope with Psalms.

  • GIANNA GIBBONS

2028 + Theatre, Design and Production Major and Studio Art & Musical Theatre Minors

    Owner of The Moonlit Designs

My mission is to create happiness through crochet items whether it’s for you or a loved one. Seeing people’s faces light up when they see my items is so rewarding & makes me want to spread the joy even more!
