MEET THE CREATORS

OLIVIA AGENO

  • 2027 + Graphic Design

  • Liv Sparkly

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding, or challenging to you?

One part of my creative process that was challenging for me was finding my own art style. I would look at pictures on Google, Unsplash, and Pinterest and take some inspiration. I hope people who look at my shop know that they can create their own style of art and appreciate how art can help with mental health.

RASHI DUTTAGUPTA

  • 2025 + Computer Information Systems & Business Data Analytics

  • Simplyoung

  • What message or emotion do you hope to share with people through your art or business?

I created the name of Simplyoung for two reasons. One, I believe that everything in life should be simple and honest. Second, youth is an everlasting choice that a person can make everyday. Youth not only stands for innocence, but for gratitude, kindness and maturity as well. I hope you find something unique that you love for yourself or someone else and carry on these beliefs to inspire others <3

AISLINN MUSGRAVE

  • 2027 + Fashion Design

  • 1 of 1 Studios

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding, or challenging to you?

I think the creative process is so fun for us. Being able to get together a group of friends and brainstorm a collection and see it come to life over the next months is so rewarding. There’s something special about the creative process with friends that brings more life to the collection.

TRISTAN TIERCE

  • ICE Box

  • Has your art or business impacted your experience as a student? How has your campus impacted your journey in any way?

The campus was a major factor for the development for this concept. Especially in freshman year, it felt as if there were an overwhelming amount of resources or opportunities to explore, with little to no cohesion. Being able to develop something like this directly relates to my studies at ASU, while also helping others avoid pitfalls that are common in many families freshman years.

JENNA SERAG

  • 2026 + Computer Science

  • Dulcet Jewels

  • What message or emotion do you hope to share with people through your business?

I want to share love and confidence with people through my jewelry. I know some of us may not always feel as good as we can on some days, but I want my jewelry to be that extra item that makes you feel more like yourself on those days.

DANIEL TAMBUNAN

  • 2027 + Business Entrepreneurship

  • AutoForgo

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding, or challenging to you?

Being creative opens my mind, which ultimately rewards me with sales. It is just an amazing feeling when others share and purchase items from your own work. To slowly witness the goals set get closer and closer.

  • Ella Arts

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding, or challenging to you?

The most challenging and most rewarding part of my process is coming up with the design. Sometimes I’ll put something together and have to restart, but it’s always worth it for the end product.

MARISOL MALDONADO

  • 2025 + Graphic Design

  • Ocean And Sun Co.

  • What message or emotion do you hope to share with people through your business?

ALLYSON GUZZO

  • 2026 + Informatics

  • Ally Rose Crochet

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding, or challenging to you?

Learning how to run a small business while balancing school and extracurriculars has been both challenging and rewarding. I’ve learned so many new skills whilst developing my business, that have made me more confident, outgoing, and motivated to do well. Student-Made is a perfect opportunity for me to spread the word of my products and reach other people like me.

CHRISTIANNA ESTRADA

  • 2024 + Family & Human Development

  • Anna’s Imperfections

  • Has your business impacted your experience as a student? How has your campus impacted your journey in any way?

I started crocheting to help destress my life, and it truly helped. While walking down palm walk, I noticed the ways that crochet pieces are making their way through the crowds, giving me inspiration to create.

ELLIOS BLACK

  • 2028 + Secondary Education in History

  • Noctuaem

  • Has your art or business impacted your experience as a student?

It has impacted me in the sense that I have placed more emotion into my art. I am happy when I draw, and being a student, I haven’t had much time to do so. So when I finally do have time to draw, I do not see it as something I have to do, but something I can do to make me happy.

ALLISON FICK

  • 2028 + Art Studies

  • Drifting Elephant Art

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding, or challenging to you?

The evaluation is the most challenging for me. I must decide whether an idea is worth pursuing or if I should abandon it. It requires me to see my work through an objective lens. Given how emotionally connected we become with our work, this is an erroneous task.

KYERRA WILLIAMS

  • 2025 + Food & Nutrition Entrepreneurship

  • Ashanti Ave Boutique

  • Has your business impacted your experience as a student?

My business has definitely impacted my experience as a student. I feel like I’m more respected by my peers, because I have taken on the challenge of running a business while being a full time student. It’s very hard, but knowing I have people rooting for me and looking at me as inspiration keeps me going.

MADISON BULLOCK

  • 2026 + Interior Design

  • Beaded by Madison

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding, or challenging to you?

Since starting my business, I have been creating for other people rather than just myself. This change has been challenging since I am creating designs that are still beautiful but aren’t necessarily my personal style. I want to design pieces for a variety of people to enjoy which can be difficult but is also rewarding when a successful and beautiful piece is made.

LAURA DILL

  • 2027 + Bachelors of Science in Speech and Audiology Science

  • 5th Heaven

  • What message or emotion do you hope to share with people through your art or business?

Through my artisan-made jewelry, I aim to convey a message of individuality, self-expression, and reflection of my roots & inspirations. Drawing from Mexican Folk art and Mexican - American Native influences. Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, reflecting the uniqueness of the wearer and the beauty found in imperfections. My hope is to evoke a sense of empowerment and inspire others to embrace their own distinctiveness, fostering a connection between the wearer and the artistry behind each creation.

BELLA SORENSEN

  • 2027 + Art Studies

  • Busy Bee

  • Which part of your creative process has been the most rewarding or challenging to you?

Learning new skills from other creators is one of the best parts. Seeing how they see the world and what they make out of their experiences is such an incredible thing.

STEPHANIE BUCKLIN

  • 2025 + Nutrition

  • Stephanie Bucklin Consulting LLC (DBA Heart-Full Crystal Creations)

  • Do you have an ultimate goal with your art or business? How do you hope this Student-Made community can help?

SOFIA EL-GENDY

  • 2027 + Biomedical Sciences

  • Zahra

  • Has your art or business impacted your experience as a student? How has your campus impacted your journey in any way?

My business has impacted me as a student because it has created an outlet for stress relief. It has become my safe space and whenever I finish a piece I feel accomplished.
